Supervision

Clinical Supervision with Amanda Odell, MS, MHP, LMFT

Supporting Growth, Confidence, and Competence in Your Clinical Journey

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington State, I offer clinical supervision to therapists working toward licensure or looking to deepen their professional practice. I provide supervision for all Washington State license types, including LMFT, LMHC, LICSW, and associates.

My Approach

Supervision with me is collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented. I believe supervision should be a space where you can:

  • Develop your clinical skills and confidence

  • Explore cases thoughtfully and ethically

  • Strengthen your professional identity

  • Reflect on the intersection of personal and professional development

  • Receive constructive feedback in a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment

What to Expect

Supervision with me is collaborative, supportive, and growth-oriented. I believe supervision should be a space where you can develop confidence in your clinical skills and professional identity within a collaborative approach. I explore cases with you thoughtfully, paying attention to ethical and legal issues as well as theoretical lenses. Supervision is not a space to make you do therapy like me, it is to create your own identity. While I won't know every single theory, I am knowledgeable in a wide majority and will work with you on developing your own style.

I also am comfortable brining in intersection of your own personal and professional development, while being watchful of boundaries that I am not your therapist. It is important to me that your whole identity is represented in your clinical practice, and you develop your ability to recognize intersections with your clients, and their impact on you and you on them.

Supervision is meant to be a place of feedback. My approach is to be compassionate, nonjdugemental, boundaried, and within an environment of humor when appropriate. Therapy is a tough job. There's a lot to pay attention to. It's also important to know where you can also relax and laugh.

Who I Work With

I welcome supervisees from all professional backgrounds and theoretical orientations. Whether you are an associate just starting your hours or a fully licensed clinician seeking consultation, I strive to create a safe, engaging space to learn and grow.

Please note: I am not an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I have been qualified as an AAMFT-equivalent supervisor in internship grad programs previously, and am happy to provide my resume to explore this with your program. However, as an LMFT licensed in Washington State, I meet the state’s requirements to provide supervision for all license types.

Individual and Agency Supervision Options

Individual Supervision

I offer one-on-one supervision for therapists and associates seeking personalized guidance, clinical growth, and support in professional development.

Agency Contracts

I also contract with agencies and group practices to provide approved supervision for employees or clinical teams.

Agency supervision can be structured to fit organizational needs—whether for ongoing clinical oversight, associate supervision, or short-term consultation. I contract as an independent supervisor, leaving you to address employment needs but your employees to receive clinical supervision.

If your agency is interested in a supervision partnership, please contact me to discuss scheduling, documentation, and contract terms.

Rates

My rates reflect the time, preparation, and individualized support that go into each supervision meeting.

  • Individual Supervision (1 supervisee): $180 per hour

  • Group Supervision (up to 6 supervisees): $180 per hour plus $20 per person (the hourly rate can be split among group members)

Group supervision provides a rich opportunity to learn from peers, discuss diverse cases, and share multiple perspectives, while also keeping costs accessible. I charge a fee per person in addition to the base rate to account for the preparation, documentation, and support per individual. For example, a group of 4 would be a total of $260 per session ($20 per person=$80 plus $180 base).

Reduced-fee options may be available for associates or community-based agencies; please contact me to discuss.
